Some time ago, PopEater reported that Neil Patrick Harris was going to quit show business. And Gossip Cop noted that the story as NOT true.
Now, one of the site’s magical sources claims Harris and his partner David Burtka are “worried about the impact Neil’s fame and wealth will have on their kids.”
That same so-called “insider” goes on to say, “The last thing in the world David or Neil want is for the twins to go into showbiz at an early age. Just because daddy was a huge child TV star doesn’t mean the couple want that for their kids.”
Where do we start?
One, Harris isn’t “worried” how his success will negatively affect his kids. And two, Harris and Burtka aren’t plotting out the career paths of their one-week-old twins, Gideon and Harper.
A rep for Harris tells Gossip Cop, “The whole [PopEater story] is fabricated.”
Burtka and Harris are more concerned right now with their babies’ bodily functions and eating and sleeping habits. The couple isn’t thinking about their infants’ professional trajectories. “They just want them happy,” says the rep.
And oh, Harris himself took to Twitter to call the PopEater piece…
